OUR STORY: From the Underground to the Mainstage

JSD Drip was born in a cramped underground Brooklyn studio during lockdown — a rebellion stitched together by our founder: a badass, festival-loving woman who refused to stop creating joy when the world stood still. What began as a bare-bones sewing setup became a movement: rave wear built for the wild, the sweaty, and the beautifully chaotic energy of the dance floor.

Once known as Jes Splendid Designs — a slow-fashion experiment in individuality and sustainability — JSD has evolved into a brand for the bold. Every piece is handmade in small batches, intentionally designed to move, flex, and slay through every drop, dance, and dimension.

We don’t do overproduction — we do small batch and made-to-order magic. Every JSD piece is crafted with intention, built for movement, longevity, and self-expression while protecting the planet.

All fabric scraps and remnants from our studio are saved, reworked, and reborn into one-of-a-kind upcycled creations — turning what others would waste into wearable art. Because sustainability isn’t just a buzzword here — it’s part of the design.

Jessica "Juice" Kenny brings over a decade of experience in corporate fashion, where she mastered the art of product development, sample management, and design. But her creative spark truly ignited in 2015, when she immersed herself in the festival world — a space where art, fashion, and experience collide.

Blending her background in theater, fashion, and spatial design for immersive installations, Jessica found her calling: creating clothing that performs as beautifully as it looks. Out of this intersection of creativity and community, JSD Drip was born — a fusion of exceptional craftsmanship, functional design, and the fearless spirit of festival culture.

Today, Jessica continues to design with intention, crafting high-performance, handmade pieces that embody movement, individuality, and the unapologetic joy of self-expression.
